Description Durango
Durango vegetable pea is a medium-maturing sugar pea with long stems up to 100 cm. The pods of this pea have a long, wide, and curved shape with a pointed tip and a rich green color. The pea has a tender and sweet taste, making it an excellent snack straight from the garden. It is perfect for eating raw, and also recommended for culinary use and canning.

Sowing Durango pea seeds is recommended in early May, planting seeds 3-5 cm deep into non-acidic, moisture-retentive soil, preferably loamy or clay loam. The optimal planting scheme is 25-30 cm between rows and 3 cm between plants. Peas do not tolerate fresh organic fertilizers and grow best after cucumbers, tomatoes, pumpkins, or potatoes.

Plant care includes regular watering and loosening the soil, and installing supports for stems if necessary. Special attention should be paid to ensuring adequate moisture during flowering and pod formation, which contributes to a good yield and quality of pods.
