Tulip Cheerleader

A Triumph Class Standard

The 'Cheerleader' tulip has firmly established itself in the mid-season Triumph group niche. This variety represents a perfect balance between aesthetic appeal and agronomic reliability, making it a preferred choice for both professional greenhouse forcing and landscape design.

Agronomic Profile

The cultivar is distinguished by its high resilience against key bulb pathogens. Its resistance profile includes immunity to downy mildew (peronospora), phomopsis, phoma, and sunflower rust. Such phytosanitary strength significantly reduces the need for frequent fungicide treatments, which is a critical factor for indoor crop management.

• Color palette: A rich, deep red hue that remains vibrant without fading under sunlight.
• Growth habit: The medium stem height ensures excellent transportability and resistance to lodging.
• Phenology: Mid-season blooming allows for strategic planning of harvest cycles during peak market demand.

The reputation of 'Cheerleader' is built on predictability. Unlike more temperamental modern novelties, this variety consistently produces a high-quality bloom with a dense, classic cup shape that retains its form long after being cut. This makes it a reliable asset for flower producers focused on consistent output and minimal risk of crop loss.
