Tulip Circuit

The 'Circuit' Tulip: Stability Meets Classic Aesthetics

Within the Triumph class, where uniformity is the gold standard, 'Circuit' stands out by prioritizing resilience without sacrificing the iconic tulip silhouette. While many varieties in this class require intensive care to look their best, 'Circuit' is engineered to thrive, making it a reliable choice for commercial growers and landscape designers alike.

Why it outperforms its rivals

The defining strength of 'Circuit' is its exceptional resistance to common fungal pathogens, including peronosporosis, phomopsis, phoma, and sunflower rust. This biological robustness reduces the need for heavy fungicide use, effectively lowering production costs and mitigating the risks associated with volatile weather conditions.

• Phenology: Being a mid-season bloomer, it fills the critical gap between early-blooming species and late-season hybrids, ensuring a consistent floral supply.
• Structural Integrity: The plant grows to a medium height, featuring a sturdy stem that resists lodging, even when exposed to strong winds.
• Visual Appeal: The vibrant red petals retain their intensity throughout the flowering period, showing excellent resistance to sun-bleaching.

Is it right for you?

If your priority is consistency and low-maintenance production, 'Circuit' is an excellent professional asset. It lacks the "exotic" flair of fringed or parrot tulips, but its classic Triumph cup shape is a staple of the floral market. For those managing crops in open fields where pathogen pressure is high, 'Circuit' provides the peace of mind that delicate boutique varieties simply cannot offer. It is a workhorse variety that delivers high-quality blooms with predictable regularity.
