Tulip Sun Dance

Greigii Legacy in the Modern Landscape

"Sun Dance" is a Greigii tulip hybrid, with a genetic lineage focused on creating compact, yet visually striking accents in the spring garden. This variety is the result of years of work in stabilizing decorative traits, blending the classic charm of botanical tulips with increased endurance against stress factors typical of the early growing season.

Biological Potential and Resilience

The main market advantage of this model is its "immune package." Unlike many large-flowered varieties, "Sun Dance" exhibits significant resistance to pathogens that frequently cause crop failure. Genetically embedded protection against Fusarium wilt, anthracnose, and powdery mildew allows this hybrid to be used in regions with unstable temperatures and high humidity without the constant need for aggressive fungicide applications.

Aesthetics and Application

The visual profile of the variety is based on a unique combination of hues. The red color of the petals is enhanced by deep lilac undertones, creating an "internal glow" effect under direct sunlight. Its low-growing stature makes this tulip an ideal solution for:

• Designing foregrounds of rock gardens and alpine slides.
• Container landscaping for terraces and entrance areas.
• Creating dense color patches in mid-season flower beds.

In professional landscaping, "Sun Dance" is valued for its predictable development and its ability to maintain decorative appeal even during a prolonged spring, making it a reliable choice for both collectors and landscape designers seeking stable, low-growing solutions.
