Tulip Sunray

Stability and Reliability in Tulip Production

Working with 'Triumph' tulips like 'Sunraь' is primarily a matter of risk management. When planning forcing or open-ground cultivation, fungal diseases are the main operational headache. With 'Sunraь', the situation is simplified: the variety demonstrates enviable resistance to anthracnose, fusarium wilt, and ascochyta blight. In high-density planting conditions, where the slightest error in aeration or humidity can lead to bulb loss, this robust health profile saves significant costs on fungicide applications.

Operational Performance

This variety belongs to the late-flowering group, allowing you to shift your sales schedule and capture the market when earlier varieties have already finished. From an agronomic standpoint, the medium stem height is optimal: the plant does not require staking, remains resistant to lodging, and maintains excellent commercial quality for cut flower production.

• Petal color: vibrant yellow, retaining saturation throughout the entire flowering period.
• Technological profile: high yield of commercial-grade bulbs when standard storage protocols are followed.
• Maintenance: the variety is tolerant of minor temperature fluctuations during the budding phase.

If you are looking for predictable planting material with high margins due to minimal losses from disease, 'Sunraь' fully addresses these needs. The variety is forgiving of minor cultivation mistakes, making it an excellent choice for both large-scale operations and those just beginning to specialize in bulbous crops.
