Tulip Sweet Lady

Technical Potential of Sweet Lady

The Greigii tulip Sweet Lady represents a breeding solution focused on combining compact architecture with biological reliability. Unlike tall-growing varieties, this hybrid is optimized for mid-season blooming conditions where stem resilience to sudden spring temperature shifts and wind loads is a critical performance factor.

Phytosanitary Profile and Genetic Protection

The core advantage of Sweet Lady is its comprehensive resistance to pathogens that typically limit bulbous crop production:

• Fungicidal Barrier: High-level defense against Fusarium wilt and powdery mildew significantly reduces the frequency of chemical plant protection applications during active vegetation.
• Viral Resistance: Genetic adaptation to watermelon mosaic virus minimizes risks of leaf plate deformation and loss of aesthetic quality.
• Anthracnose Control: A dense epidermal structure and inherent immunity inhibit fungal development even in high-humidity environments.

Morphological Characteristics and Application

The dwarf stature of this variety serves as a functional node in landscape design. The low center of gravity ensures the peduncle remains upright even during heavy precipitation. The pink spectrum of the petals features stable pigmentation, resistant to photodegradation when exposed to direct sunlight. This tulip model is optimal for front-border planting, rock gardens, and container landscaping, where a predictable habitus and high resistance to soil-borne diseases are required.
