Tulip Sunset Survive

Field Management and Maintenance

Cultivating Triumph-class tulips like 'Sunset Survive' offers producers predictable yields with significantly reduced monitoring requirements. The primary advantage lies in the genetic profile: the variety exhibits high resistance to Fusarium and Verticillium wilt. For the operator, this translates into fewer fungicide applications, directly lowering production costs and simplifying the maintenance of planting beds.

Agronomic Performance

• Flowering Schedule: The mid-season maturity allows for efficient scheduling of logistics and sales channels.
• Morphology: The medium height provides structural integrity; the stems are robust, preventing lodging during windy conditions or heavy precipitation.
• Biological Defense: A comprehensive resistance package against mosaic virus, cladosporium, and spotted wilt ensures pristine white petals, maintaining the premium market quality essential for the floral industry.

‘Sunset Survive’ does not require complex growth regulation; under standard fertigation practices, it maintains steady, vigorous development. Its resistance to root-knot nematodes allows for cultivation on land previously prone to soil-borne pests, eliminating the need for expensive or labor-intensive soil sterilization protocols.
