Tagetes Zefir

A Compact Accent for Your Landscape

The "Zefir" tagetes variety from Sspk Agrofirm Mars is the result of meticulous work by local breeders. Experts from Heterosis Breeding and the Ustinovo Vegetable Seed Research Station collaborated to create this hybrid. Combining the expertise of these research centers has resulted in a plant that marries the resilience of classic marigolds with the aesthetics of professional floral crops.

Key Characteristics

• Habit: Upright, ensuring a neat bush shape without the need for additional pruning.
• Height: 20–30 cm, making it perfect for the foreground of flower beds and border plantings.
• Bloom: Large, with a diameter of 6–8 cm, maintaining its decorative appeal even in changeable weather.

In the market, this variety is valued for its predictable results. Unlike taller or sprawling varieties, "Zefir" maintains its shape, creating dense, profusely flowering "pillows." Professional gardeners and landscape architects frequently include it in urban landscaping projects where high planting density and long flowering periods are essential.

Despite its compact nature, "Zefir" demonstrates a potential rarely seen in low-growing tagetes: its flowers are suitable for cutting. This allows the variety to be used not only in garden design but also for creating miniature indoor arrangements that stay fresh in a vase for a long time. The consistency of the seed material, guaranteed by the facilities of Agrofirm Mars, makes this variety a reliable choice for both private gardeners and municipal improvement services.
