Tulip Sunny Prince

A Sunny Accent for Your Garden

The Sunny Prince tulip belongs to the elite Triumph class, and its popularity among professional growers is due to its highly predictable performance. Unlike many other varieties that tend to stretch their stems at the slightest lack of light, this cultivar maintains perfect proportions and a consistent medium height. Its rich, pure lemon-yellow hue does not fade even under direct midday sun, making it a favorite for open landscape designs.

Why Choose Sunny Prince

• Structural Integrity: The goblet-shaped bloom is dense and holds its form on the stem until the very last day of flowering, never opening into a messy, sprawling cup.
• Consistent Timing: As a mid-season flowering hybrid, it is perfect for succession planting, bridging the gap between early and late bloomers.
• Resilience: It handles spring temperature fluctuations exceptionally well, which is vital for regions with unpredictable early spring weather.

Who Is This Variety For?

Sunny Prince is the ideal choice for those seeking the "golden mean" between show-quality aesthetics and ease of maintenance. It is excellent for creating monochromatic blocks and "sunny garden" style spring beds. Due to its medium height, it does not require staking, which saves significant time when managing larger plantings. One nuance to consider is that this variety requires regular monitoring for soil-borne fungal diseases during the growth phase—a standard requirement for the Triumph class, but critical for ensuring healthy bulb storage for the following season.
