DescriptionKRASNOUFIMSKAYA 137
KRASNOUFIMSKAYA 137 is a timothy grass variety with high yield potential for green mass (up to 400 c/ha) and absinthine substance (70–90 c/ha). Seeds of this variety boast a purity of not less than 90% and germination of at least 75%, as confirmed by certificates of conformity to GOST R 52325-2005. The variety is characterized by a powerful tufted root system, primarily located in the upper soil horizons, which ensures good durability and resistance to ice crust.
KRASNOUFIMSKAYA 137 demonstrates high winter hardiness and can withstand cold periods without loss of productivity. However, the variety poorly tolerates drought and requires a sufficient level of moisture for optimal growth. With proper care, including the application of nitrogen fertilizers, the plant demonstrates stable growth and increased palatability in various types of feed.
The variety has an extended productive lifespan – about 4–5 years on pure stands. This makes it an attractive choice for pasture systems where a stable release of quality feed material is required. Seeds are packed in big-bags or sacks, which is convenient for wholesale implementation and transportation.
