Timothea Nikitaievskaya is a grass of the species Phleum pratense L., bred at the Tulun GSS by mass selection from a local sample under natural cross-pollination with the best varieties. The variety is characterized by an upright or semi-opened bush, stem heights up to 100 cm, and well-leafy branches.
The crop belongs to the group of grasses and is included in the register of permitted breeding achievements. The variety's originator is FSBSI "Siberian Federal Center for Agrobiotechnology" RAS, and registration occurred on January 11, 1946, with subsequent inclusion in the register in 1948.
Timothea Nikitaievskaya is suitable for cultivation in a wide range of regions, including the Irkutsk region, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Republic of Buryatia, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Republic of Tuva, and Republic of Khakassia. Due to its stability and good stem leafiness, the variety ensures a stable yield and is convenient to process.
