ATURO – a perennial boggy loose-clumped grass with broad rough leaf blades, colored dark green or gray-green. The plant is characterized by erect stems and knee-like curvature in the lower internodes, which gives it a stable structure.
Flowering of ATURO begins in early June and continues until July. Seeds germinate quickly, and the plant forms a resilient turf resistant to trampling, maintaining its color even in cold seasons. Due to its adaptability to soils, ATURO grows successfully on various types of ground, including both fertile and less favorable areas.
This variety is widely used in mixes for seeding ordinary lawns and meadow lawns. It withstands winter frosts, spring freezes, short-term drought, and flooding well, however, it is not recommended for parterre lawns due to leaf width and intolerance to very low cutting.
