"Alrazina" variety represents a high-quality timothy grass (Phleum pratense L.) that is distinguished by its excellent adaptability to a wide range of climatic and soil conditions. This is a frost-hardy plant capable of germinating at temperatures from 1 to 2 °C and beginning to grow at average daily temperatures of 5–6 °C during the spring period. Thanks to such resilience, it can be successfully grown even in northern regions of the country.
Timothy "Alrazina" demonstrates high yield on both clay, moist soils and drained peat bogs. It grows excellently in floodplains, lower reaches, and moderately moist meadows, and can withstand flooding with spring water for up to 30 days. At the same time, the plant cannot endure prolonged drought and shade, so optimal watering regime and sufficient illumination are key factors for achieving maximum results.
The variety shows a good response to fertilization: at high nitrogen rates, yield increases rather than decreases. In the Volga-Vyatsky region, the average yield of dry matter is 31.3%, and in the best cases reaches over 200 c/ha, confirming its effectiveness and reliability as a feed crop for livestock. "Alrazina" is a superelite reproduction that combines high productivity, resistance to adverse conditions, and excellent nutritional value for cattle.
