Fodder beet SOLO F1

Why «SOLO F1» by Sakata is the choice of professionals

For farmers focused on fresh market sales and food processing, crop uniformity is the top priority. The «SOLO F1» hybrid from the Japanese breeding company Sakata addresses the main producer challenges: it eliminates the need for labor-intensive sorting due to its perfectly uniform round shape and complete absence of interior rings.

Key advantages in the field and at the counter

• High marketability: A deep, dark red flesh color that remains intense even after thermal processing, which is critical for food processing companies.
• Stress resistance: Sakata's genetics provide excellent protection against powdery mildew. The plant shows high resistance to specific diseases, including cercospora and various rots, which allows for reduced fungicide applications.
• Flexible harvest window: With a maturity period of 50–60 days, this hybrid fits perfectly into sequential planting schemes—from early bunching sales to long-term storage.

Who is this hybrid for?

«SOLO F1» is aimed at operations that value labor efficiency. Its robust root system and healthy foliage allow for a high yield of marketable produce even under intensive conditions. This is not just a beet; it is a tool for creating a highly profitable business where the quality of the final root vegetable speaks for itself.
