POLONEZ is a hybrid sugar beet (Beta vulgaris L. ssp. vulgaris var. saccharifera Alef.) belonging to medium-late sugary plants. It represents a monopodial diploid hybrid on a sterile foundation of type NZ, which ensures high stability and crop quality. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in the North Caucasus and Middle Volga regions, where it demonstrates excellent yield and sugar content indicators.

Average root mass varies from 648 to 672 grams depending on the region, with sugar content reaching 16.8% in the North Caucasus and 17.6% in the Middle Volga regions. Root yield in the North Caucasus region is about 555 centners per hectare, and sugar collection reaches 80 centners per hectare. These indicators make POLONEZ one of the effective hybrids for sugar production.

The hybrid is characterized by high resistance to all diseases of the foliage apparatus, including weak cercosporosis infection, which significantly reduces the risk of crop losses.
