Rumbasol OR sunflower is a mid-season hybrid developed by Syngenta-Monsanto, with a vegetation period up to 125 days. Plants reach a height of about 180 cm and have a convex flower head diameter up to 26 cm. This hybrid is distinguished by high resistance to lodging and tolerance to various types of downy mildew, ensuring stable yields even under adverse conditions.
The Rumbasol OR hybrid has a high yield potential and high seed oil content, reaching 50%. It is characterized by good resistance to major sunflower diseases such as Phomopsis, Phomopsis, sclerotinia, and gray mold, as well as high drought tolerance. These qualities make it especially suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones, including Ukraine.
Rumbasol OR is highly technological in production and adapted to various soil types, including less fertile ones.
