Sugar Beet PONTIAC SMART

Technological Potential of Belgian Breeding

The sugar beet hybrid "Pontiac Smart" from the Belgian company SESVANDERHAVE is an F1 breeding result tailored to the modern requirements of sugar refineries and logistics chains. Registered in Ukraine in 2026, this hybrid combines genetic resilience with high sugar yield potential, making it a strategic choice for large-scale agricultural operations.

Processing and Sugar Yield

The key feature of "Pontiac Smart" is its suitability for intensive industrial processing. The roots possess a uniform shape, which minimizes losses during mechanical harvesting and primary cleaning at the factory. High sugar content combined with low levels of impurities (potassium, sodium, and harmful nitrogen) allows processing plants to achieve maximum output of the final product from every ton of raw material.

Logistics and Storage

Transportability is a major strength of this hybrid. The dense structure of the root ensures resistance to mechanical damage during loading and long-distance transport. When temporary storage in clamps is required, "Pontiac Smart" demonstrates low mass and sugar loss rates, which is critical for ensuring the uninterrupted operation of sugar factories during peak season periods.

• Optimized for high-tech processing lines.
• Minimal risk of spoilage during transport.
• Consistent raw material quality for the sugar industry.
