Sugar beet variety Oregon is a first-generation hybrid developed by BETASEED INC and registered in 2006. This variety is recommended for cultivation in the Central Chernozem and North Caucasus regions, as well as suitable for the Polesie, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe zones. Oregon stands out for its balanced yield, sugar content, and juice quality, making it competitive even on nematode-infested fields.

The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to various diseases, including rhizomania, cercosporosis, powdery mildew, aphanomyces root rot, and nematodes. The root mass reaches about 950 grams, with a yield of approximately 101 tons per hectare. The sugar content of the beet is at 18.5%, ensuring high-quality raw material for sugar production. The recommended plant density at harvest is 90 to 115 thousand plants per hectare, with a sowing rate of 1.3 seeding units per hectare.
