Sunflower LG50300

The LG 50300 sunflower hybrid is an early, high-yielding variety distinguished by high oil content and elevated oleic acid levels. The plant is medium-height, reaching an average height of about 155 cm, with a head diameter of approximately 15.5 cm and an average 1000-seed weight of about 67 g. This hybrid offers high yield potential and stability, making it attractive for intensive cultivation technologies.

LG 50300 exhibits high drought and stress tolerance, as well as good cold resistance and lodging resistance. It is tolerant to all major races of downy mildew (A-G) and key sunflower diseases including Phomopsis, root and head mold, black mold, dry rot, and fusarium, ensuring reliable protection and stable yields under various climatic conditions.

Recommended for cultivation in all sunflower-growing zones, particularly in steppe and forest-steppe regions of Ukraine. Optimal planting density depends on soil moisture: in well-watered areas, up to 60,000 plants per hectare are recommended, while in drier areas, 45-50,000 plants per hectare are advised. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, LG 50300 is an effective choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality sunflower yields.
