Sunflower LG50270

The hybrid sunflower LG 50270 from the manufacturer Limagrain belongs to the early maturity group and is characterized by high initial growth energy. This hybrid is distinguished by high resistance to cold and drought conditions, making it especially suitable for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones of Ukraine. Plants reach an average height of about 170 cm, and the average head diameter is 16 cm, which contributes to effective yield formation.

The seeds of LG 50270 have a high oil content and demonstrate a high oil percentage, ensuring a high oil yield during processing. The hybrid exhibits tolerance to various races of downy mildew (A-G) and new races of false powdery mildew, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses due to diseases. The average 1000-seed weight is about 55 g, indicating good seed material quality.

To achieve maximum yield, it is recommended to strictly follow sowing rates and avoid overcrowding. The hybrid's yield potential exceeds 42 centners per hectare, making it a profitable choice for farmers seeking high productivity and crop stability. High resistance to drought and cold (on a scale of 9 out of 10) ensures stable yields even under adverse climatic conditions.
