Sunflower LG 5665 M

LG 5665 M — a mid-late maturing sunflower hybrid, developed for conventional cultivation techniques and adapted to various soil-climatic conditions. This hybrid is characterized by stable high yields reaching up to 5 tons per hectare and high oil content in seeds ranging from 47-50%, which may vary depending on the growing zone, planting density, and mineral nutrition. Plants are medium-height, approximately 147 cm tall, with a flower head diameter of about 15.6 cm and a seed weight of around 73 grams per 1000 seeds. The vegetation period is 110-112 days, allowing the hybrid to be sown early and grown practically throughout all regions of Ukraine.

The LG 5665 M hybrid exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including false powdery mildew, fusarium, phomopsis, white and dry rot, rust, and downy mildew (races A-E). The recommended planting density prior to harvest is 55-60 thousand plants per hectare in zones with sufficient moisture and 50-55 thousand in zones with limited moisture.

The hybrid responds well to traditional cultivation practices and is resistant to conventional herbicides.
