LG 5665 M — a mid-late maturing sunflower hybrid, developed for conventional cultivation techniques and adapted to various soil-climatic conditions. This hybrid is characterized by stable high yields reaching up to 5 tons per hectare and high oil content in seeds ranging from 47-50%, which may vary depending on the growing zone, planting density, and mineral nutrition. Plants are medium-height, approximately 147 cm tall, with a flower head diameter of about 15.6 cm and a seed weight of around 73 grams per 1000 seeds. The vegetation period is 110-112 days, allowing the hybrid to be sown early and grown practically throughout all regions of Ukraine.

The LG 5665 M hybrid exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including false powdery mildew, fusarium, phomopsis, white and dry rot, rust, and downy mildew (races A-E). Additionally, the plant demonstrates excellent resistance to lodging, drought, and cold, ensuring stable yields even under adverse conditions. The recommended planting density prior to harvest is 55-60 thousand plants per hectare in zones with sufficient moisture and 50-55 thousand in zones with limited moisture.

To achieve maximum productivity from LG 5665 M, it is recommended to follow crop rotation, ensure high levels of soil mineral nutrition, and apply foliar microfertilizer applications. The hybrid responds well to traditional cultivation practices and is resistant to conventional herbicides.
