KIPUNDJY SMART

KIPUNDJY SMART is a single-seed diploid hybrid of sugar beet Beta vulgaris L. ssp. vulgaris var. saccharifera Alef., developed using the CONVISO® SMART technology. The hybrid is characterized by high yield and good resistance to diseases such as root rot and cercosporosis, ensuring reliability and yield stability under various climatic conditions. The root crop has a widely conical shape of medium length and a mass ranging from 458.5 to 536.2 grams, which facilitates efficient harvesting and processing.

The vegetative period of KIPUNDJY SMART is about 180 days, allowing the hybrid to develop successfully in the Central Black Earth and North Caucasus regions. Average yield in the Central Black Earth region reaches 318.9 centners per hectare with a sugar content of 18.7%, ensuring sugar collection at the level of 70.4 centners per hectare. In the North Caucasus region, yield is higher — 379.2 centners per hectare, with a sugar content of 17.4% and sugar collection of 76.7 centners per hectare.
