Sunflower is one of the key oilseed crops in agriculture, in demand due to high yield and oil content of its seeds. In recent years, there has been steady growth in demand for sunflower seeds and their processed products, stimulating expansion of sowing areas and improvement of breeding work. Our assortment includes certified sunflower seeds and hybrids, adapted to the climatic conditions of Ukraine, including early-, mid-, medium-, and late-maturing varieties with vegetation periods from 90 to 120 days. Special attention is paid to hybrid varieties, which are distinguished by high drought and disease resistance and provide stable yields with high oil content. Hybrid Rodos VAV is a high-yielding variety with a vegetation period of 106–108 days and plant height of 175–180 cm. It is recommended for a planting density of 55–60 thousand plants per hectare and has a yield potential of up to 6 tons per hectare with oil content of 53–55%. This hybrid demonstrates high tolerance to major sunflower diseases, such as downy mildew, white and gray rot, rust, fomopsis, as well as fomosis, alternaria, septoria, and sooty mold, ensuring reliability and quality of the harvest. Seeds are additionally treated with insecticide protectant, enhancing their protection during early growth stages. Early-maturing hybrid sunflower Granstar Flash, developed by Serbian breeding, is intended for cultivation in various regions of Ukraine, including forest-steppe, steppe, and Polissia. It is characterized by a short vegetation period of 90–95 days, high resistance to fox moth pests, and adaptation to herbicide Granstar application. This hybrid demonstrates drought resistance and can maintain a stable average yield even on less fertile soils, making it an economically advantageous choice for farmers seeking economic efficiency and quality harvests.
