Cyclone

Cyclone is a sugar beet hybrid developed by the breeding program 'SoюзСемСвекла' and included in the State Register for the North Caucasus region. The plant is of medium height and mid-season maturity, with a vegetation period of 145 to 155 days. The root has a broadly conical shape and medium soil immersion, which ensures ease of harvest collection and good adaptation to regional conditions.

The hybrid is characterized by moderate resistance to root rot and root decay, as well as high resistance to ramularia, medium resistance to cercospora and powdery mildew. The average mass of the root is about 490 grams, which contributes to high yields—up to 9.1 tons per hectare. Sugar content in roots reaches 17.8-18.1%, making this hybrid attractive for sugar production.

Cyclone is intended for cultivation in the North Caucasus region, where it demonstrates stable yield and quality indicators. Thanks to balanced agronomic characteristics and resistance to major diseases, this hybrid ensures efficient sugar beet production with high sugar content and good root preservation.
