CHERNOOSEMETS is a sugar beet hybrid (Beta vulgaris L. ssp. vulgaris var. saccharifera Alef.) intended for cultivation in various regions, including the Volga-Vyatka and North Caucasus. This single-seed, single-rosette diploid hybrid on a sterile N and NZ foundation differs with medium-late maturation period and high sugar content. The root mass varies from 428 to 667 grams, ensuring high yield and harvest efficiency.

Sugar content in CHERNOOSEMETS roots ranges from 18.7% to 19.7%, making it attractive to the sugar industry. Average sugar harvest reaches 64-80 centners per hectare, while the probable sugar output at the factory is about 55 centners per hectare. The hybrid demonstrates resistance to root aphid damage and weak susceptibility to Cercospora leaf spot, contributing to stable and quality harvest.
