IGOR

The sugar beet variety «IGOR» is a mid-maturity hybrid developed by Danish breeders from Maribo Hilleshog ApS. This variety is characterized by high root yield, averaging 555–561 centners per hectare, with a single root weight of approximately 656–667 grams. Sugar content in the roots is about 16%, ensuring high sugar content and effective use of the crop in the sugar industry.

The «IGOR» hybrid is characterized by resistance to a range of diseases and pests, in particular fusarium rot and cercosporosis, which significantly reduces crop losses and improves product quality. In addition, the variety demonstrates good adaptation to various climatic conditions, which is confirmed by successful cultivation in regions with different agro-climatic features.
