YAKARI soybean variety is a high-yielding, early-maturing variety with a maturity period of 108–116 days, belonging to the mid-early group. Plants are of medium height — 70–85 cm, with intensive early development and indeterminate growth habit. Pods are located at a height of 14–16 cm from the ground. Flower color is purple, pubescence is brown, seeds are yellow with a light-gray hilum. The 1000-seed weight is 180–210 g, indicating high seed density and quality. The variety exhibits high resistance to lodging, shattering, and drought, ensuring stable yields even under adverse conditions. YAKARI shows tolerance to complex diseases, reducing the need for intensive plant protection. Due to its well-developed root system and efficient nitrogen nutrition, the variety produces a large number of pods, contributing to its potential yield of 4.4–5.5 t/ha. Protein content in the seeds is not less than 42–43%, and oil content — not less than 22%, making it valuable for food and feed industries. For optimal cultivation, recommended seeding density is 550–600 thousand plants per hectare and row spacing 12.5–30 cm. The variety is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including steppe, forest-steppe, and polonina. The breeding method is self-pollination, ensuring stability and uniformity of traits. High resistance to stress factors and diseases, along with excellent agronomic characteristics, make YAKARI a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality and high soybean yields.
