WOLMA

Soy of the 'Wolma' variety is a very early-maturing variety bred by Kazakhstani breeders from the Kazakhstan Research Institute of Agriculture and Planting. This variety is characterized by a short growing season - about 90-95 days with a sum of active temperatures of 210 °C, which allows for successful cultivation in various regions, including Central, Central-Black Earth, Middle Volga, Ural, and Far Eastern. It is recommended for cultivation in such regions as Amur, Vladimir, Kursk, Lipetsk, Penza, Ryazan, and Tula, as well as in the Pavlodar region of Kazakhstan.

'Wolma' is distinguished by high resistance to lodging, shattering, and drought, which ensures crop stability even under unfavorable weather conditions. Plants reach a height of 67.8 to 90 cm, and the proportion of pods located below 15 cm is only 3%, which facilitates harvesting and reduces losses. The mass of 1000 seeds ranges from 116.4 to 150 g, indicating the variety's large-fruitedness.

The 'Wolma' variety is characterized by a high content of nutrients: the average protein content in seeds ranges from 33.4% to 39%, and the maximum reaches 43%, making it valuable for the production of protein products. The fat content of seeds is within the range of 22-24.3%, which also contributes to the high energy value of the crop. The yield of the variety varies depending on the region and growing conditions, reaching an average of 14.6 c/ha and a maximum of 41.8 c/ha in the Central region, confirming its high productivity.
