Sorghum feed variety ALTAISKOE 1 is an early-maturing crop that reaches maturity in 100-105 days. Plants of this variety are short, reaching a height of 155-160 cm, and have a weakly culmous structure. The panicle of sorghum is straw-colored, loose, cylindrical in shape, 40-42 cm long, upright and elastic at the time of maturity. The stem is strong and resistant to lodging, contains 10-11 aerial nodes, ensuring good plant strength. Leaves are lanceolate in shape, 60-65 cm long and 7-8 cm wide, with a white central vein, which contribute to efficient photosynthesis and crop development. The grain of the variety is light brown, oval and elongated, covered with a film and threshed easily, which facilitates the harvesting and processing of the crop. The variety is characterized by high resistance to diseases and pests at the seed germination stage, and also possesses cold hardiness, making it a reliable choice for growing under various climatic conditions. Due to these characteristics, ALTAISKOE 1 ensures a stable and high-quality crop of feed sorghum. Research conducted at the Testing Laboratory of the Altai Branch of FGBU "Grain Quality Assessment Center" confirmed that this variety complies with the requirements of GOST R 53902-2010 for quality and safety indicators. The following parameters were checked: color, odor, content of harmful and mineral impurities, exchange energy in dry matter, raw protein content, ash, and fiber content, as well as the presence of weed and grain impurities, infestation, and absence of GMOs. All test results confirmed the high quality and safety of the ALTAISKOE 1 variety, making it attractive for use in feed animal husbandry.
