Description Vladimirka
Vladimirka gooseberry is a vigorous tree growing up to about 3.6 m tall with a round, dense crown with a diameter of approximately 2.7 m. The crown is covered with silverish-lime green foliage: large, broadly lanceolate leaves of bright green color with a silver tint form the shape of a wide boat. At the tips of shoots are thorns 3–4 mm long, while the youngest shoots have a greenish-brown color and point upwards.

Vladimirka fruits are small (0.3–0.4 g), round-oval, and colored orange-yellow with raspberry spots at the calyx and peduncle. The taste is sour with a slight astringency; the fruits pull off wet, which is characteristic of early-ripening varieties. The variety ripens later, usually in August, and can be used both fresh and for processing (oil, juices, preserves).

Yield of the plant is from 5 to 13 kg of berries per bush. Vladimirka differs in high frost resistance and resistance to pests and diseases, but requires a male variety for pollination. It is recommended to grow it in sunny places in fertile loamy or sandy soils with a good water supply and a light mechanical composition; the plant does not have strict requirements for fertility, however, stable and high yields are achieved on favorable soil.
