SPRING is a perennial ornate cinquefoil from the Potentilla genus, distinguished by its high frost resistance up to -30 °C and ability to grow in a wide range of climatic conditions. The plant forms compact shrubs ranging from 25 to 100 cm in height, with lush grassy carpets that maintain their vibrancy even during cold seasons. Leaves have a silvery tint, giving the plant a special texture; in autumn, they transition to yellow and reddish tones, adding an additional decorative effect.
The flowers of the SPRING cinquefoil are glossy, with 4–5 petals, colored from white to bright yellow shades. They appear starting from June and can continue until autumn, and in warm conditions, flowering can last longer. Thanks to the variety of colors and the duration of flowering, the plant becomes an attractive landscape element year-round: in spring – bright white and yellow buds, in summer – rich shades, in autumn – golden foliage, and in winter – reddish branch bark contrasts with white snow.
Care for SPRING is simple and does not require special efforts. The plant prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations, soils from weakly acidic to weakly alkaline, but cannot tolerate heavy, compacted, or waterlogged soils. Planting is carried out in spring or autumn; roots depth 3–4 cm. Cinquefoil is drought-tolerant and requires moderate watering, especially on clay soils. Pruning is done as needed – removing old shoots and cutting tips to stimulate branching. Feeding is done in spring with full mineral fertilizers, and in autumn – with potassium-phosphorus.
SPRING fits perfectly into various garden compositions: as a groundcover plant (goose cinquefoil), in groups, borders, living hedges, and mixed borders. It harmoniously combines with euonymus, phlox, geraniums, and other low-growing plants, creating multi-layered and dynamic landscape solutions.
