QUIKSTON is a type of annual ryegrass lawn grass, known for its quick germination and bright dark green leaf color. Seeds germinate within 5–13 days after sowing, and under optimal autumn conditions, a seedling appears in just 5–6 days, quickly covering the soil with a dense green layer. Thanks to this rapid development, the grass protects the topsoil from drying out and creates a smooth carpet lawn.
The turf material features a thin leaf blade with a shiny underside, giving the surface a fresh and neat appearance. The variety grows well in rich clay loam soils but can adapt to various soil types, except for excessively wet conditions. It is resistant to low temperatures – withstanding up to -16 °C without snow cover and even lower with snow.
QUIKSTON is suitable as an auxiliary variety for quick restoration of lawns after damage or during periods requiring rapid seeding. Thanks to high viability and low maintenance requirements, it provides a dense and thick cover, maintaining greenness even under challenging climatic conditions.
