Description
The variety is mid-season, with a vegetative period of 305 to 330 days. It possesses high winter hardiness and drought tolerance, making it competitive in various regions of Russia, including the Volga Region, Central Black Earth, Middle Volga, Lower Volga, and Urals. SARATOVSKAYA 7 is resistant to lodging and has a medium level of infection with brown rust, powdery mildew, and snow mold, while being highly susceptible to snow mold.
The main advantages of the variety include high yield, reaching 25.5–29.6 centners per hectare, as well as excellent technological and bread-making grain qualities corresponding to the first quality class.
