Rye Dymka

The winter rye variety Dymka was developed considering modern agronomic requirements and is characterized by high winter hardiness and resistance to lodging. This mid-late variety has a vegetative period from 330 to 350 days and is noted for its good drought resistance and powdery mildew resistance, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions. Dymka possesses good grain quality with protein content ranging from 8.4 to 12.4%, ensuring satisfactory baking qualities. The yield varies from 24 to 50 centners per hectare, indicating its high productivity. Despite general disease resistance, the variety is susceptible to snow mold, brown rust, and stem rust, which requires attention during agronomic care.

It is recommended for cultivation in the Northwestern, Central, and Volga-Vyatsk regions of Russia, where it successfully adapts and shows stable results. Thanks to its characteristics, the Dymka variety is suitable for use in modern agro-productions, providing a reliable yield and quality grain.
