The ASTRINGA corn hybrid is a medium-maturing, simple-modified hybrid of Ukrainian selection with FAO 270, intended for grain production. Plants reach a height of 250-270 cm, with ears attached at a height of 110-120 cm above ground level. Grain is dent-shaped, yellow-orange in color, with a 1000-grain weight of 300-310 g and a grain yield of 83-84%. The hybrid is characterized by high productivity, reaching up to 13.5 t/ha (130 c/ha), making it attractive for cultivation under various climatic conditions.
ASRINGA exhibits high resistance to major diseases, drought, heat, and pests, as well as tolerance to lodging and prolonged drought. These traits ensure stable yields and adaptability to dry regions and cold conditions. The hybrid responds well to improved agronomic practices, enabling maximum potential realization.
A distinctive feature of the hybrid is its high water release and good stem condition at the end of the vegetation period, which contributes to maintaining grain quality. Due to its characteristics, ASTRINGA is suitable for cultivation in diverse agroclimatic zones, ensuring reliable and high grain yields.
