The winter rye variety ERA was developed by the N.I. Vavilov Institute of Plant Genetic Resources of the Russian Academy of Sciences and is intended for cultivation in various climatic zones of Russia, including the Vologda, Kostroma, and Yaroslavl regions. This medium-late and medium-height variety is distinguished by high resistance to diseases, lodging, and drought, which ensures crop stability even under unfavorable conditions. The maximum yield of the variety reaches 64.1 centners per hectare, confirming its high productivity.

The grain of the ERA variety is of high quality and suitable for use in various industries, including compound feed, bakery, cereal, and processing industries. The protein content in the grain meets the Falevaya 4 standard, making it a valuable raw material for the food industry. Thanks to the large grain size and good germination, the variety ensures effective cultivation and high yield.

For sowing, a sowing rate of 160 to 220 kg per hectare is recommended. Seeds undergo processing according to modern technologies, which enhances their germination energy and disease resistance. The ERA variety is included in the state register and recommended for cultivation in the northwestern regions of Russia, confirming its adaptability and reliability for agricultural production.
