Description Gift
Rye is an ancient grain of the grass family, distinguished by its elongated grain shape and dark color. It possesses a slightly acidic-honey flavor and is rich in iodine, potassium, and fiber, making it beneficial for healthy eating, including weight loss, diabetes management, and during high physical exertion. Rye is widely used for sprouting, as well as for producing flour and cereals used in various culinary applications.

This winter rye variety, developed at the Tatar State Agricultural Scientific Research Institute, is characterized by a medium-late maturity period and medium plant height. This variety is resistant to lodging, winter conditions, as well as diseases such as rust, powdery mildew, and root rot. It is intended for grain and fodder purposes and is distinguished by its low pentosan content, which improves grain quality. The variety's yield in the region reaches an average of 32.5 centners per hectare, with maximum indicators up to 64.7 centners.

Rye is primarily cultivated in cold climatic zones, where it demonstrates high resistance to diseases and pests. In addition to food use, rye is used for the production of black bread, beer, and other products. Moreover, it serves as animal feed and raw material for biofuels, making it a versatile crop with a wide range of applications.
