Strawberry PERVOKLASSNITSA

Technical Profile of the 'Pervoklassnitsa' Strawberry

The breeding material from FANCA represents a specialized strawberry variety adapted to temperate climate conditions. The key feature of this hybrid's biological potential is a balanced metabolism, aimed at maintaining consistently large fruit sizes—ranging from 60 to 80 grams during peak harvesting periods. Unlike early-ripening varieties, 'Pervoklassnitsa' exhibits a mid-season ripening cycle of 40–50 days, allowing the crop to efficiently accumulate sugars and micronutrients.

Adaptability and Phytosanitary Resistance

The engineering approach to the variety's immune system has resulted in high resistance to powdery mildew. This reduces the need for fungicide treatments during the vegetation period. An agrotechnically significant advantage is its frost resistance down to -25°C, enabling outdoor cultivation without the risk of critical root system damage during winter. The berry density is classified as "soft," which optimizes the product for fresh consumption and culinary processing where texture is not a limiting factor.

• Biological Cycle: An extended fruiting period ensures a consistent harvest flow.
• Fruit Morphology: The round shape and bright red color indicate a high concentration of anthocyanins.
• Production Standards: The originator base (Av Du Capitaine N Tchorere, France) sets high quality standards for planting material adapted to harsh climatic conditions.
