Baron Solemacher begins bearing fruit in the year of planting, and a stable yield is maintained for 3-4 years, while the plant can withstand winter temperatures down to minus 35 degrees and endure heat, although prolonged drought may reduce yield. The berries of this variety are small-fruited, conical in shape, bright red with a glossy sheen, weighing from 3 to 5 grams. The flesh is firm, juicy, with a rich forest strawberry aroma and a sweet-sour taste where sweetness prevails with a slight tartness. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and also maintain their market appearance and freshness after harvesting. They are widely used for freezing, making jams, confitures, compotes, puddings, and smoothies. Fruiting lasts from early June until the first frost, allowing for an extended enjoyment of the berries. Baron Solemacher can be grown in open ground, preferably in partial shade, as well as in greenhouses, containers, or on insulated balconies and loggias. For planting, loose and moist soil is recommended, and seedlings are sown in February-March with subsequent planting in the ground in April-May or in August-October according to a 15-20x20 cm scheme. Reproduction is possible by seeds or by dividing the bush. Care for the plant is uncomplicated and includes weeding, mulching, fertilization with organic fertilizers, and watering. The variety is characterized by high resistance to diseases and pests, which makes it attractive for amateur horticulture and allows growing in one place for up to 5-6 years with good care.
