Rapeseed Admiral

Stable yields even in challenging conditions

Working with the 'Admiral' rapeseed hybrid from Limagrain, you quickly realize that the French breeders focused on durability. This isn't a crop that fails at the first sign of pest pressure.

Field performance

Regarding its agronomic profile, the hybrid shows excellent growth vigor in the early stages. This is crucial when soil moisture is low or the planting window is delayed. Throughout the vegetative stage, the stem stands strong: lodging is virtually non-existent, even during high winds. At harvest, 'Admiral' remains predictable: the pods do not shatter, allowing for a stress-free harvest during the optimal window without fearing losses at the combine.

Economics and ROI

For an agronomist, both yield and cost predictability are key. Its high adaptability allows for stable results across various soil types. In the current environment of rising crop protection costs, resistance to pests (such as scale insects or codling moths that occasionally migrate from nearby orchards) effectively reduces the need for frequent spraying.

• Fast autumn development, ensuring good winter hardiness.
• Strong pest resistance, significantly lowering chemical protection costs.
• High lodging tolerance, making harvest operations much smoother.

If you are looking for a reliable solution that performs consistently, 'Admiral' is a workhorse you can depend on season after season.
