The biopreparation Baikal is a highly concentrated microbiological composition containing effective microorganisms, including lactic acid bacteria, photosynthetic, nitrogen-fixing bacteria, saccharomyces and yeasts. One cubic centimeter of the preparation contains 700 million colony-forming units, ensuring its high biological activity. The preparation is intended for use on various agricultural crops, including vegetable, fruit and berry crops, and promotes improved plant growth, enhanced immunity, and protection against diseases and pests.
Baikal is applied via fertigation, foliar feeding, straw decomposition, and pre-sowing seed treatment. Dosage varies depending on the method of application: from 1-2 liters per hectare for foliar applications to 5 liters per hectare for straw decomposition. The preparation effectively combines with humate-containing agents, mineral and microfertilizers, and when used for straw decomposition, it is recommended to be combined with nitrogenous fertilizers. When mixed into tank solutions with plant protection agents, the efficacy of the preparation decreases.
Use of Baikal significantly improves soil fertility by suppressing pathogenic microflora, reducing salinization, and enhancing soil biological activity. The preparation accelerates the decomposition of organic matter, improves soil structure, increases its aeration and water retention.
