Description Accord
Accord is a mid-season winter rapeseed (Brassica napus var. napus) variety intended for seed and feed purposes. It belongs to the "00" type, characterized by low glucosinolate content, which enhances product quality. The variety exhibits lodging resistance and moderate resistance to diseases such as fusarium, downy mildew, and alternaria. Accord demonstrates high yield, particularly in Kaliningrad and Ural regions, as confirmed by studies conducted in the Middle Pre-Urals. Seeds contain 41.8–47.8% fat and 21.2–23.4% protein, making them valuable raw material for oil and feed production.

Studies show that various winter soil tillage methods significantly affect the yield and quality of Accord rapeseed. The highest seed yield — up to 1.99 t/ha — is achieved with disc and non-disc tillage, with plant density at harvest around 134–135 plants per square meter. Seeds in the harvest contain 15.0–17.5% crude protein and 44.5–45.4% fat, ensuring high feed energy value. Non-disc tillage enhances productivity, increasing feed units and metabolizable energy per hectare.

Accord is suitable for mechanical harvesting, simplifying agronomic processes and improving production efficiency. Due to its characteristics and adaptability to various soil-climate conditions, this rapeseed is a reliable choice for farmers targeting high-quality raw material for food and feed industries.
