Rapeseed LID TEBO

Adaptability and Field Performance

The winter rapeseed hybrid "LID TEBO" from the French breeder Lidea France SAS demonstrates a survival strategy focused on stability under unpredictable climatic conditions. A key feature of this F1 hybrid is its capacity for an intensive start: high initial growth energy allows the crop to rapidly develop a robust root system and rosette before the onset of winter. This is critical for regions prone to prolonged autumns or late planting dates, where other hybrids often lose potential due to insufficient vegetation time.

Stress and Pathogen Resistance

In field conditions, this hybrid acts as a "hardened" solution for areas with high infection pressure. The breeders have prioritized comprehensive protection:

• Phoma: genetically determined high resistance reduces the risk of premature stem cracking and yield loss.
• Lodging: a strong stem maintains a vertical position even during heavy rainfall and high winds, facilitating harvest and minimizing grain losses.
• Winter hardiness: survival rates during the winter period are rated as very high, confirming the hybrid's reliability for northern and central agricultural zones.

The mid-early maturity group allows "LID TEBO" to efficiently utilize spring moisture, avoiding peak heat stress in early summer. The hybrid shows a predictable response to drought periods, maintaining metabolic activity through balanced development of both above-ground and root systems.
