The hybrid rapeseed Andrick is a high-yielding winter type 00 (hand-free) variety, intended for ultra-early and early sowing dates. It is characterized by high winter hardiness and resistance to spring frosts, making it especially adaptable to continental climatic conditions. The hybrid features strong branching and high 1000-seed weight, contributing to high yield potential up to 70 centners per hectare. The recommended seeding rate is 350,000 to 500,000 seeds per hectare.
Andrick possesses genetic resistance to pod cracking, which reduces yield losses during ripening. Oil content in the seeds ranges from 47-50%, making this hybrid attractive for oil production. At the same time, glucosinolate content does not exceed 15 mmol/g, and erucic acid level is zero, ensuring high product quality and safety for use in food and feed industries.
The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to various stress factors and diseases: cold resistance is rated 9 points, drought, lodging, white rot, mold, and fusarium resistance levels are 8-9 points. Thanks to these characteristics, Andrick is a reliable choice for cultivation in Ukraine and other regions with similar climatic conditions, ensuring stable and high yields.
