Rapeseed variety Alabama is a hybrid with high genetic resistance to clubroot, ensuring stable high yields both in areas where this disease is prevalent and under normal growing conditions. It also exhibits high tolerance to verticillium wilt and cyllindrosporiosis, as well as genetic resistance to pod cracking, which reduces seed losses during harvest. The glucosinolate content in seeds is low, positively affecting product quality.

This variety is characterized by high winter hardiness and is suitable for cultivation on light soils, broadening its application potential across various regions, including Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polесье. Alabama features rapid spring vegetation recovery and intensive branching, contributing to its high yield potential. The vegetative period falls within the mid-early maturity group, with early first flowering and average autumn development.

Alabama is recommended for mid- to late sowing periods with a seeding rate of 350–550 thousand plants per hectare, ensuring optimal plant density at harvest time.
