Ramses herbicide is a systemic plant protection agent designed for effective control of annual and perennial grasses, as well as broadleaf weeds, including those resistant to 2,4-D. The active ingredient is rimsulfuron at a concentration of 250 g/kg, which inhibits the acetolactate synthase enzyme necessary for the synthesis of essential amino acids, thereby halting weed growth and causing their death. The preparation is available in water-dispersible granules, ensuring convenient application and uniform distribution of the working solution over crops.
Ramses is applied to corn, tomato, and potato crops, providing reliable protection against weeds. The recommended application rate is 40-50 g per hectare, with the volume of the working solution varying from 200 to 300 liters per hectare. The optimal temperature for application is within the range of +15 to +25 °C, so the product is not recommended for use in cool weather. Due to its rapid degradation in soil with a half-life of approximately 10 days, the herbicide is safe for subsequent crops in crop rotation.
Advantages of Ramses include a broad spectrum of activity, including weeds resistant to traditional herbicides, ease of use, and a long application window. The product is packaged in 0.5 kg containers, which are convenient for storage and transport. Using Ramses allows effective weed control, enhancing crop yield and quality.
