Regent is a highly effective insecticide designed to protect crops from various pests, including Colorado potato beetles, May beetles, cutworms, corn rootworms, and wireworms. The active ingredient of the product is fipronil at a concentration of 25 g/l, which affects the nervous system of insects by blocking gamma-aminobutyric acid receptors, leading to the death of pests. The product is effective against both adults and larvae, providing reliable plant protection.
One of the key advantages of Regent is its fast action and long-lasting protective effect, which lasts for 3-4 weeks after treatment. The product is not phytotoxic to plants and does not cause pest resistance, allowing its use in various climatic conditions, including hot summers. Treatment is carried out once, by dissolving the product in 8-9 liters of water, which is sufficient for treating 200 square meters of a potato field. The last treatment must be carried out no later than 30 days before harvest.
Regent is used for both soil treatment before sowing or cultivation and during plant growth. It is suitable for use on vegetable, decorative, and fruit crops, providing a wide range of protection against soil and above-ground pests. When working with the product, it is necessary to observe individual protection measures and application instructions, avoiding food intake and smoking during treatment.
