Radish Selyanka

Stable harvests throughout the season

The «Selyanka» radish from the «Sedek» brand is a time-tested choice for those who value consistency in vegetable production. Unlike many hybrids that are highly sensitive to daylight hours, this variety demonstrates remarkable adaptability. It can be sown from early spring through late autumn, allowing for a steady supply of fresh produce across the entire growing season.

What makes this root vegetable unique?

The main visual characteristic is its classic cylindrical shape with a distinctive «white tip.» This specific appearance makes the product instantly recognizable on retail shelves and farmers' markets. With a weight of 25–30 grams, the roots are compact, making them ideal for bunching.

• Stress resistance: The variety handles the temperature fluctuations typical of mid-season weather quite well.
• Flavor profile: The flesh remains crisp and juicy without excessive bitterness, which is a key quality metric for consumers.
• Marketability: The size and structure allow for easy transportation without worrying about damage to the delicate skin.

Who is this variety for?

«Selyanka» is an excellent choice for both home gardeners and small-scale farms. Thanks to the efforts of the originators (Dubinin S.V., Dubinina I.N., Lukyanenko A.N.), these seeds offer high germination energy. For farmers, this translates into uniform emergence, which is critical when planning continuous production cycles. If you are looking for a variety that resists bolting during sudden warm spells and maintains a firm structure, this is an excellent option.
