Radish Regge

Consistent performance for late-season crops

Growing radish during the summer and autumn months brings a unique set of challenges, specifically concerning disease pressure and heat stress. This hybrid maintains its structure without bolting, even under long daylight conditions.

Cultivation and Resilience

The standout feature of 'Regge' is its robust genetic resistance to Cercospora and powdery mildew. From a management perspective, this significantly reduces the need for aggressive fungicide programs. The roots themselves are firm and perfectly round, maintaining a vibrant red exterior. Importantly, the internal texture remains crisp and void-free, even if harvesting is slightly delayed due to logistics.

• Growing Cycle: Highly effective for summer and autumn, handling temperature fluctuations with ease.
• Quality: Uniform, round, deep red roots that look great on the shelf.
• Disease Management: High tolerance to key pathogens, ensuring lower waste during the season.

For growers looking for a predictable hybrid for mid-to-late season production, 'Regge' offers the consistency required to maintain profit margins. With fewer losses in the field and minimal culling during sorting, it’s an essential tool for efficient radish production.
