Radish variety Pashka is an early-maturing culture with a maturation period of 25-28 days, intended for cultivation in various regions. The plant forms a semi-erect rosette of leaves with an inversely ovate shape and a yellowish-green color, with petioles having an anthocyan hue. The root crops of this variety are round, bright red in color with a flat head and a thin tail, weighing from 20 to 38 grams, which ensures high marketability and an attractive appearance of the product. The radish flesh of Pashka is snow-white, dense, crunchy, tender, and very juicy, with a high vitamin content, making it especially useful and tasty. The variety is characterized by resistance to bolting, is not prone to cracking, and retains freshness for a long time without wilting, which significantly increases storage life and crop quality. The taste qualities of the root crops are considered excellent, which makes this variety in demand both for personal subsidiary farms and for commercial cultivation. For obtaining a stable and continuous crop, it is recommended to sow in open ground at the end of April – beginning of May to a depth of about 2 cm with inter-row spacing of 7 cm and spacing between plants of 3-4 cm. Harvesting is carried out selectively over a week, and to ensure a constant supply of fresh root crops, sowings are repeated with an interval of two weeks until mid-August. For sowings in June – early July, it is advisable to create short-day conditions using light-proof material, which promotes optimal plant development.
